CLEVELAND YOUTH CHOIRS

The Cleveland Youth Choirs strive to provide choir experiences for our Cleveland Cluster Middle Schools who lack choral programs so that they can have a full and rich education in choral music like other middle schools in PPS before coming to the High School.

CYC choirs are led by Junior and Senior choir students at Cleveland High School who work with middle school students at Sellwood Middle School and hopefully Hosford this year.

Students will learn pitch matching, healthy vocal technique, music reading basics, and will be invited to sing and perform along side the High School choirs at the Winter Concert in December and Springtasia in May.

VOLUNTEER AS A ROOM MONITOR

We need Parent Volunteers to sit with the students at each location once a week! If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity please email Mrs. Cottrell - acottrell@pps.net
